Eglwsi Eraill ~ Other Churches
We join in with united services in our communities and share in special projects such as Taizé services, Christian Aid collections, Good Friday services, Whitsun March of Witness & Open Air Songs of Praise.
There are regular joint services and prayer meetings and we collaborate closely with other churches in children's work and seeking God’s vision together. In 2009 we have a project to encourage our congregations in sharing our faith.
We are connected to world mission organisations SAMS for South America, CMS, Reach for Rwanda and Tearfund. We have had church workers with us from India and Uganda, and have hosted overseas Christians in the parish.
At harvest 2008 we were able to send 130 shoeboxes of gifts for children in Eastern Europe as part of the Samaritan Purse's Operation Christmas Child appeal.
For Advent and Christmas 2008 we are supporting the Bible Society in Nepal as this will be the first year for the government there to allow free celebration of Christmas. Find out more at www.biblesociety.org.uk
